Sales Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results‑oriented Sales Officer to drive sales growth, develop strong customer relationships and expand our market presence in the beverage/FMCG sector. The role involves managing an assigned territory, achieving sales targets and ensuring product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and key customers.
• Identify new sales opportunities and expand market coverage within the assigned territory.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
• Promote and sell company products to retailers, wholesalers and other business customers.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor product availability, pricing, competitor activity and gather customer feedback.
• Coordinate with distributors and internal sales teams to ensure timely product delivery and proper merchandising.
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, track orders, payments and outstanding accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of sales experience, preferably in the beverage or FMCG industry.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a field‑based territory.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills with good knowledge of local market distribution channels.
