Sales Officer – Light & Medium Duty Vehicles

About the role

The Sales Officer (LMD) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kathmandu, focused on driving sales of light and medium‑duty commercial vehicles across assigned territories. You will identify new business opportunities, manage enquiries, and nurture relationships with existing customers and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial vehicle market.
• Manage sales inquiries, prepare quotations, and support customers through the purchasing process.
• Conduct market visits, present product features and benefits, and follow up on leads.
• Coordinate with internal teams on inventory, delivery status, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Monitor competitor activities, contribute to local sales strategies, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and relationship‑management skills with a focus on responsiveness.
• Proven ability in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management.
• Effective verbal and written communication, confident product presentations.
• Experience in sales operations, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field preferred; relevant vehicle or industrial sales experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, meet sales targets, travel within assigned areas, and basic proficiency in MS Office.
