Sales Trainee (Remote)

About the role

The Sales Trainee role is a full‑time remote position supporting the growth of 5Oak’s software development and IT services. You will learn sales processes, prospect potential clients, and assist senior team members in qualifying leads.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and apply sales processes, prospecting, and lead qualification via calls, emails and online meetings.
• Prepare sales presentations, proposals and basic documentation while maintaining accurate records in CRM or sales tracking tools.
• Collaborate with senior sales team members, participate in training sessions and gather customer feedback to improve service offerings.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills for engaging with clients and internal teams.
• Foundational sales and sales‑management knowledge to support lead generation and pipeline tracking.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively and meet targets.
• Basic understanding of software development or IT services, or a strong interest in the technology sector.
• Proficiency with common office and communication tools; relevant coursework or degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
