Security Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Security Manager to lead safety and security operations at our modern Holiday Inn Express in Kathmandu. The role ensures protection of guests, employees and property while aligning with regulatory requirements and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day security operations, supervise staff, set goals and provide coaching and training.
• Ensure safety of guests, team members and hotel assets, enforcing policies, procedures and local law compliance.
• Plan and conduct patrols, fire drills, first‑aid and emergency preparedness; manage incident reporting and key control.
• Liaise with authorities, guests and external stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and high service standards.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, monitor expenses and oversee security projects and renovations.
• Promote a culture of safety, security awareness and staff development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field (preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience in security management, preferably in hotels or resorts.
• Strong leadership, team‑management, communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in safety, security, first‑aid and emergency procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple shifts, supervise large teams and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
