Senior Accountant / Chartered Accountant (CA)

About the role

The Senior Accountant / Chartered Accountant (CA) will lead the company’s accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and statutory compliance functions. This position ensures accurate financial records, strong internal controls, and provides insights to support operational and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including entries, bookkeeping, voucher preparation, reconciliations and finalisation of accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss and cash flow reports.
• Oversee project accounting, monitor budgets, costs, work‑in‑progress, retention and revenue recognition.
• Ensure timely filing of VAT, Income Tax, TDS, SSF and other statutory returns; handle tax assessments and audits.
• Manage banking relationships, perform bank reconciliations, cash‑flow forecasting and handle loans, letters of credit and guarantees.
• Develop annual and project budgets, track utilisation and recommend cost‑control measures.
• Design and maintain internal control systems and coordinate internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Minimum 84 months (7 years) of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, taxation and project accounting.
