Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The role involves supervising daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting strategic financial decisions. You will work closely with multiple departments to maintain strong financial controls and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, and journal entries.
• Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and maintain bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
• Control expenses and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure timely VAT, TDS, income‑tax, and other statutory filings.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Maintain proper documentation and uphold internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with other departments on accounting and finance matters.
• Perform additional finance and accounting tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; hospitality or service‑industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Professional integrity, confidentiality, and a team‑leadership mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software.
