Senior Backend Developer – Django

About the role

Prixa Technologies is looking for a senior backend developer with deep Django expertise to join its engineering team. You will design and build high‑performance services that support enterprise‑grade applications used by thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using Django and Python.
• Build and optimise RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework.
• Architect backend systems focusing on performance, security, scalability and maintainability.
• Create and tune complex database schemas in PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Integrate AI/ML components and third‑party services.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps and AI teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Implement authentication, authorization and role‑based access control.
• Debug production issues, conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Participate in technical architecture discussions and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience with Django.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
