Senior Credit Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to support our Australian mortgage operations from our office in Kathmandu. The role involves conducting thorough financial assessments, analysing client documentation, and recommending appropriate lending strategies while ensuring compliance with responsible lending standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse financial documents such as payslips, tax returns, bank statements and financial statements.
• Assess borrowing capacity using lender calculators and financial assessment tools.
• Recommend suitable loan structures and lending strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Liaise with brokers and clients to clarify requirements and provide credit insights.
• Ensure applications comply with lender policies and NCCP responsible lending requirements.
• Conduct post‑settlement reviews to identify refinance or cross‑selling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records within CRM systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably within mortgage or lending environments.
• Strong understanding of Australian mortgage products and responsible lending regulations.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to interact with brokers and clients.
• Proficiency in using financial assessment tools and CRM software.
