Senior Data Analytics Analyst

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Data Analytics Analyst 2 to join its Data Analytics team, which handles the analysis and implementation of U.S. healthcare data for analytical applications. The analyst interprets, transforms and standardizes complex datasets to generate insights that support business decisions, ensures data quality and contributes to improving data processes, tools and reporting frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret, analyze and validate data using advanced statistical, querying and analytical techniques.
• Cleanse, transform and aggregate data from diverse healthcare sources, and map disparate fields into a unified schema while reconciling member information across datasets.
• Support data standardization, including relationship code alignment, demographic normalization, member-month calculations and healthcare code analysis.
• Perform detailed analysis tasks assigned by the reporting manager and lead data implementation decisions.
• Follow organizational data-processing standards using proprietary tools and ETL pipelines, and lead a team and coordinate data deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of experience in data-centric roles with increasing responsibility.
• Significant data management knowledge and hands-on ETL experience.
• Experience with healthcare claims systems, EMR data or similar healthcare datasets.
• Knowledge of U.S. healthcare processes and terminologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Redshift.
• SQL and advanced Excel functions.
• Strong analytical knowledge and experience.
