Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a highly independent Senior DevOps Engineer to own the production infrastructure of a globally operating technology platform. The immediate focus is a critical live migration across regions, followed by ongoing improvements in reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of production workloads from a legacy Kubernetes environment to a new multi‑region setup, planning cutovers, rollbacks and data‑integrity checks while minimizing disruption.
• Own end‑to‑end production infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes, establishing monitoring, alerting, incident response, uptime tracking and post‑mortem processes.
• Optimize cloud spending, resource allocation and autoscaling, and eliminate recurring incidents and single points of failure.
• Strengthen secrets management, access controls, network security and infrastructure boundaries, and maintain IaC and reliable CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Deep hands‑on experience operating production AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Proven track record migrating live production workloads between Kubernetes clusters or regions with full data integrity.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure as code, monitoring, alerting and CI/CD.
• Ability to assess infrastructure independently, prioritize improvements and execute solutions quickly.
