Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to lead procurement activities for our beverage manufacturing operations in Kathmandu. The role involves managing the full purchasing cycle, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement and purchasing activities.
• Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and related documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and timely delivery.
• Conduct market research to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with Finance, Stores, Operations, and other departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation abilities.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes and market practices.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
