Senior Software Engineer

About the role

CloudFactory is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build, scale and mature its AI‑driven technology platforms. You will work closely with product teams, clients and internal stakeholders to deliver core business capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable, cloud‑native architectures and own their evolution.
• Develop and maintain high‑performance production systems primarily in Go.
• Advance DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation.
• Ensure reliability, security and observability of shipped features.
• Manage technical debt and make architectural trade‑offs aligned with business growth.
• Design proofs‑of‑concept and support complex client integrations.
• Mentor global engineering teams through code reviews and design documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience designing, building and operating complex software systems at scale.
• Expertise in Go (idiomatic, concurrent, performant code).
• Strong background in cloud‑native technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Deep experience with AWS or GCP services, networking and security.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices and asynchronous messaging.
