Solar Technician

About the role

Cosmic Solution is looking for a motivated Solar Technician to join its operations team in Kathmandu. You will play a key part in delivering solar energy projects by installing, commissioning, and maintaining photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar water heaters across various sites, including remote locations.

Key responsibilities

• Install solar PV and solar water heating systems at project sites.
• Carry out commissioning, testing, and routine maintenance of installed equipment.
• Prepare and dispatch materials required for installations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during and after installation.
• Provide after‑sales service and ongoing support for solar installations.
• Coordinate with the assigned Operations Engineer and report progress regularly.
• Ensure installations meet quality standards and safety protocols.
• Travel to remote project locations as needed.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of hands‑on experience with solar PV or solar water heating installations.
• Willingness to work in field environments and travel to remote sites.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills for coordination with engineers and clients.
