Sponsorship Operations Trainee (1-year Fixed Term)

About the role

World Vision International Nepal’s one‑year Traineeship Program offers fresh graduates practical work experience, professional development and mentoring while contributing to child wellbeing initiatives. The Sponsorship Trainee will learn and develop practical skills in Sponsorship Operations and support the department to achieve World Vision’s goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sponsorship department with correspondence, rich media uploads and data management in the Horizon database.
• Support field and area programme teams by coordinating sponsorship information and ensuring timely communication.
• Maintain accurate sponsorship data, update dashboards and analyse simple data sets.
• Provide administrative and logistical support during peak sponsorship periods.
• Collaborate with finance, admin, SCM and program teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related field.
• Strong motivation to uphold World Vision’s vision, mission and core values.
• Good English and Nepali language skills, able to translate content between the two languages.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and adapt to a diverse cultural context.
