UK Education Counselor

About the role

TBG Nepal Education Consultancy is looking for an experienced UK Education Counselor to guide Nepali students aspiring to study in the United Kingdom. The role involves providing comprehensive advice on university selection, application procedures, and visa processes.

Key responsibilities

• Counsel students on suitable UK universities, courses and career pathways based on their academic background and goals.
• Provide accurate information about admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, living costs and university deadlines.
• Manage the complete student application process, from initial counselling through enrolment.
• Assist students with university applications, personal statements, supporting documents and interview preparation.
• Guide students through the UK student visa process and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, universities and institutional representatives.
• Follow up with prospective students and support the conversion of enquiries into applications and enrolments.
• Maintain accurate student records and update application progress in the company’s system.
• Stay informed about changes to UK university admission policies, visa regulations and compliance requirements.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, university visits and other promotional activities.
• Collaborate with admissions, documentation and marketing teams to meet organisational targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience counselling students for UK higher education.
• Strong knowledge of UK university programmes, admission criteria, scholarship options and visa regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents and university representatives.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to stay updated on UK education policies.
