Web Content Writer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Web Content Writer to join our travel team in Kathmandu. You will craft engaging, SEO‑focused stories that inspire travelers to explore Nepal and the greater Himalayan region.

Key responsibilities

• Produce original content for the website, blogs, newsletters and social media.
• Write travel articles, destination guides, itineraries and promotional pieces covering Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and the Himalayas.
• Research travel trends, cultural insights and adventure tourism to keep content accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute editorial calendars and content strategies.
• Review, edit and proofread all material to ensure high quality, consistency and grammatical accuracy.
• Optimize content using modern SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) techniques to boost organic traffic.
• Maintain alignment with the company’s brand voice and marketing objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a content writer, preferably in travel, tourism or hospitality.
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, able to turn complex information into engaging narratives.
• Good understanding of Nepal’s culture, heritage and trekking destinations.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
