Account Assistant – Automobile Industry

About the role

We are looking for an Account Assistant to support the finance operations of our automobile workshop in Bharatpur, Chitwan. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing workshop billing, and collaborating with service, spare‑parts and head‑office finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries, vouchers, ledgers and financial records.
• Process workshop service billing, verify job cards and handle customer payments.
• Manage cash, bank transactions, deposits and perform reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts receivable/payable and monitor outstanding balances.
• Verify spare‑parts and service‑related invoices.
• Assist with VAT, TDS, tax documentation and compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Coordinate with workshop, service, spare‑parts and head‑office finance teams.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree completed.
• 1–2 years of experience as an accountant or in a relevant financial role.
• Experience in an automobile workshop or service centre is an advantage.
• Strong numerical ability, good communication and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
