Account Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Account Officer to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, supporting budgeting processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries and perform routine bookkeeping tasks.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements.
• Prepare and update financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting and cost‑monitoring activities.
• Enter data, document transactions, and keep records with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve accounting queries.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
