Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily financial operations at Raju Enterprises Trade Center in Kathmandu. The role involves maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and supporting the finance team in delivering timely financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Prepare and record daily financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support tax filing and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial activities.
• Provide data for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with other departments on financial matters.
• Assist senior accountants or management as required.

Required profile

• At least one year of relevant accounting experience or a strong academic background in accounting.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good understanding of Nepalese accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles.
• Familiarity with basic bookkeeping and ledger management.
• Understanding of tax filing procedures and compliance requirements.
