Accountant

About the role

Modura Global Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a competent and detail‑oriented Accountant to manage the company’s accounting, taxation, inventory accounting, and compliance functions. This full‑time role will support the growth of a dynamic trading and import business by establishing strong financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including customer collections and supplier payment schedules.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund requirements.
• Prepare and file VAT, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with Nepalese regulations.
• Coordinate with banks, customs clearing agents, freight forwarders, auditors, and tax consultants.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, accounting procedures, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely statutory compliance and maintain proper financial documentation.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
