Accountant

About the role

Kalash Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial activities. The role involves maintaining accurate books, handling transactions, and ensuring compliance with Nepalese tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date books of accounts in line with Nepalese accounting standards.
• Process daily transactions such as receipts, payments, sales, and purchases.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, bills and supporting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, and perform regular bank and cash reconciliations.
• Generate monthly financial reports including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Assist in filing VAT returns, TDS and other statutory taxes.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and government authorities.
• Support budgeting, financial planning and expense monitoring.
• Assist with payroll processing and maintain related records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Nepalese taxation, VAT and TDS.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Tally, Swastik or Busy.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
