Accountant

About the role

CloudFactory is seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements. This role offers professional growth within a mission‑driven organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting transactions in NetSuite and maintain accurate financial records.
• Process vendor and employee payments, ensuring timely disbursements.
• Calculate, deduct, deposit, and file TDS and other taxes in compliance with Nepalese regulations.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and support monthly payroll processing.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, perform reconciliations, and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Assist with audit documentation and coordinate with auditors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• NetSuite (or similar accounting software)
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
