Accountant & Logistics Executive

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant & Logistics Executive to oversee our financial operations while coordinating end‑to‑end logistics. The role blends core accounting duties with shipment management, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements.
• Reconcile bank statements, process invoices, payments and expense claims.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT filing and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit cycles and monitor cash flow.
• Organise inbound and outbound shipments, manage shipping documentation (purchase orders, delivery orders, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Track shipment status, resolve delivery issues and maintain inventory records with periodic stock reconciliation.
• Negotiate rates and service levels with logistics vendors and maintain vendor contracts.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, logistics or a combined finance‑operations role.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with good cross‑departmental communication.

Required skills

• Finpro, Tally, Swastik or similar accounting/ERP software.
• Familiarity with logistics management systems and shipping platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
