About the role
The Accounts and Finance Executive will oversee day‑to‑day accounting, cash handling, payroll, invoicing and financial reporting for Apala Jewels' two retail stores. The role supports store operations while ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the daily cashbook, verify physical cash and resolve discrepancies.
- Update store sales data in the APALA Target Sheet, record returns/exchanges and perform weekly/monthly reconciliations.
- Review ledgers, invoices and vouchers; ensure proper filing and timely preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L and Stock reports by the 10th of each month.
- Prepare and issue daily Saral invoices, verify all invoice details and attach COA documentation.
- Prepare monthly salary sheets, verify payroll calculations and submit salary/recognition data before payment dates.
- Manage rent and utility payment calendars, prepare payment requests and maintain receipt records.
- Support the Apala Labim team with finance‑related requests, coordinate purchases and resolve operational issues promptly.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial documents and cash records.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple financial trackers and deadlines.
