Accounts Head – Lead Finance Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and results‑driven Accounts Head to lead our Accounts Department. The role involves overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor the Accounts team to ensure efficient day‑to‑day financial operations.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax authorities and regulatory agencies.
• Oversee tax planning, VAT, corporate tax filings and other statutory submissions.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices.
• Support business expansion and operational decision‑making through financial analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and financial management.
• Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements, budgets and forecasts.
• Experience coordinating with auditors, banks and regulatory bodies.
