About the role
The Nepal Development Research Institute (NDRI) is seeking an Admin and Finance Assistant to support its administrative and financial operations. The role reports to the Admin and Finance Officer and works under the supervision of the Executive Director, based at the Sanepa office in Lalitpur.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Admin and Finance Officer with daily administrative and financial tasks.
- Provide support to the Executive Director as required.
- Travel occasionally to project or study locations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative and finance role.
- Good command of English and Nepali.
- Valid two‑wheeler licence and access to a personal vehicle.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
What we offer
- One‑year fixed‑term contract with a two‑month probation period.
- Possibility of annual extension based on performance and funding availability.
