Agentic AI Engineer Intern

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated Agentic AI Engineer Intern to join our team and work on AI‑powered backend systems. You’ll build and ship real features using Python, REST APIs, and databases, and gain hands‑on exposure to containerization and cloud‑native deployment with Docker and Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python 3.
• Implement CRUD operations and integrate them with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Assist in building and integrating AI/ML features such as model inference APIs and LLM‑based workflows.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code.
• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Help deploy and manage services on Kubernetes clusters.
• Debug issues, monitor services, and troubleshoot performance problems.
• Collaborate with engineers in code reviews, stand‑ups, and sprint planning.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Python 3 (data structures, OOP, virtual environments).
• AI/ML basics and libraries (scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLM APIs).
• REST API design and frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• CRUD implementation.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Docker (Dockerfiles, images, containers).
• Kubernetes (pods, deployments, services, ConfigMaps/Secrets).
• Git version control and pull‑request workflows.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) – good to have.
• CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) – good to have.
• Linux command‑line tools.
• Message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) – good to have.
• Vector databases and RAG pipelines – good to have.
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) – good to have.
