Agentic AI Engineer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Agentic AI Engineer Intern to join the Z1Agent team. This internship offers hands‑on experience building production‑grade AI‑driven backend services and learning how autonomous incident‑resolution engines are designed, built, and operated.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python 3.
• Implement CRUD operations and integrate them with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) databases.
• Assist in building AI/ML features such as model inference APIs and LLM‑based workflows.
• Containerize applications with Docker and help deploy them on Kubernetes clusters.
• Debug issues, monitor services, and troubleshoot performance problems.
• Collaborate with engineers in code reviews, stand‑ups, and sprint planning.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Python 3 (data structures, OOP, virtual environments).
• REST API frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Docker (Dockerfiles, image building, container runtime).
• Kubernetes (pods, deployments, services, ConfigMaps, Secrets).
• Version control with Git.
• AI/ML basics and libraries (scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLM APIs).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Linux command‑line proficiency and knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Basic monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
