AI Capacity Development Consultant – Remote (5‑month travel)

About the role

The consultancy aims to build AI capacity across UNICEF Nepal’s workforce by delivering tailored coaching, practical demonstrations and workflow redesign. The consultant will work remotely, with occasional travel over a five‑month period, to help staff integrate generative AI tools safely and effectively into their daily tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver office‑wide AI upskilling sessions and hands‑on coaching for all staff.
• Assess priority workflows within the Education Section and develop AI‑enabled tools, templates, prompt libraries and workflow guidelines.
• Facilitate practical demonstrations that illustrate how to use Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and other generative AI platforms.
• Institutionalise AI‑enhanced processes and monitor adoption to improve productivity and knowledge management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Transformation, Learning & Development, Educational Technology, Knowledge Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in AI, digital transformation, organizational learning or technology adoption.
• Proven experience delivering AI training and coaching to professional audiences.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of Nepali is desirable.
