AI/ML Engineer – Backend & Data Focus

About the role

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer who will own the design and implementation of backend services, data platforms, and AI/ML pipelines. The role sits at the intersection of data engineering and machine‑learning production, enabling AI‑driven applications to run reliably at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain efficient, scalable data models for transactional, analytical, and ML workloads.
• Build and operate production‑grade AI/ML pipelines, integrating model outputs into backend services.
• Develop robust APIs and backend services using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage AI/ML applications on Amazon AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
• Integrate agentic frameworks (e.g., Agno, LangChain) and large language models into production systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, documented, production‑ready code and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience building production AI/ML pipelines or data platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with large, complex datasets.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Backend frameworks: FastAPI, Flask (or equivalent).
• Relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, data modeling, indexing, query optimization).
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services.
• Agentic frameworks such as Agno or LangChain.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) integration.
• Understanding of scalable system architecture and distributed data processing.
