Area Sales Manager – Kathmandu

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position based in Kathmandu is responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, and managing relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, and key institutional clients for Tilara Polyplast.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the assigned territory.
• Conduct client meetings, product presentations and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Coordinate order fulfillment with internal operations, marketing and customer service teams.
• Monitor competitor activity, analyse market trends and prepare regular sales reports.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and contribute to territory growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in territory and account management, preferably in building materials or industrial products.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication abilities with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Comfortable with field‑based work, regular client visits and travel within the region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of the local Kathmandu and Nepal market, dealer networks and construction ecosystem is highly beneficial.
