Assistant Manager – Risk Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Risk Operations will ensure accurate and timely reporting to both country and group stakeholders, embed new regulatory requirements, and support the bank’s Credit Initiation and Fraud Risk Management functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory and internal reports accurately and on schedule.
• Incorporate new rules, regulations and reporting requirements promptly.
• Document end‑to‑end process notes and develop templates or automation to improve efficiency.
• Establish and maintain quality‑assurance checks and backup procedures.
• Maintain MIS, monitor KPIs/KRIs, and escalate risk issues as needed.
• Support fraud risk management by liaising with country stakeholders and overseeing vendor activities.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics or related field; professional certifications such as CFA, CA, ACCA, CPA are a plus.
• Experience in regulatory reporting, credit policy, and fraud risk management within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of Basel accords and country‑specific regulatory frameworks.
