About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team at Millsberry School. In this role you will support lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons and help create a positive learning environment for our students.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering classroom lessons.
  • Support classroom management and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Prepare teaching materials, classroom displays, and learning resources.
  • Monitor students' academic progress and classroom activities.
  • Encourage active participation and positive behavior among students.
  • Help organize school events and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain discipline in line with school policies.
  • Perform additional teaching and administrative duties as assigned.

  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Genuine interest in working in an educational environment.
  • Enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate about student development.
  • Ability to support teachers and manage classroom dynamics.
