Automobile Workshop Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Sub Accountant to join our finance team at an automobile workshop located in Hakim Chowk, Chitwan. The role involves handling daily accounting tasks, billing, and coordination with various departments to ensure accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries, vouchers, ledgers, and financial records.
• Handle workshop service billing, job card verification, and customer payments.
• Manage cash, bank transactions, deposits, and reconciliation.
• Maintain accounts receivable/payable and outstanding records.
• Verify spare parts and service‑related invoices.
• Assist with VAT, TDS, tax documentation, and compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Coordinate with Workshop, Service, Spare Parts, and Head Office Finance teams.
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, or Finance.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an automobile workshop or service centre.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, communication, and organizational abilities.
