Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead sales initiatives for Classy Printing Press, a leading printing and packaging provider in Nepal. The role focuses on acquiring new corporate, commercial and institutional clients, strengthening existing relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to meet sales and revenue targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various sectors.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long‑term relationships with clients, advertising agencies, publishers and partners.
• Lead negotiations, prepare proposals and quotations, and close deals.
• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends, customer needs and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with production, design and operations teams to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage and mentor the business development team, setting targets and providing guidance.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts and report regularly to senior management.
• Represent the company at client meetings, exhibitions, networking events and industry conferences.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in business development or sales.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships in corporate, commercial or institutional environments.
• Strong negotiation, proposal preparation and closing skills.
