Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to expand our network of educational institutions and migration partners in Nepal. Based in Kathmandu, you will work on‑site to generate leads, present our counseling and visa services, and support students throughout their study‑abroad journey.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop partnerships with universities, colleges, migration agencies and related stakeholders.
• Generate, nurture and convert leads through meetings, presentations and follow‑up activities.
• Promote the company’s counseling, enrollment and visa services to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with market needs and track performance metrics.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and monitor industry trends.
• Represent the organization at events, fairs and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or relationship management, preferably in education or migration services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Ability to analyse market trends, develop growth strategies and work with data to track outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines on‑site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education or a related field.
• Professional ethics, problem‑solving ability and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and clients.
