Business Development Officer

About the role

WorldLink Communications is looking for an experienced and result‑oriented Business Development Officer to drive enterprise sales, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with clients in Kohalpur, Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inquiries from enterprise customers and recommend appropriate product and service offerings.
• Identify prospective clients, establish customer mapping, and develop effective sales solicitation and closing strategies.
• Conduct market research and gather market insights within the assigned area.
• Plan and implement promotional and marketing activities related to enterprise business.
• Plan sales activities and consistently achieve assigned sales targets.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports to the supervisor.
• Establish and maintain strong, cordial, and professional relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve customer issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Develop technical solution proposals and prepare quotations for offered products and services.
• Participate in cross‑functional activities within the sales department as required.
• Monitor customer payment cycles and ensure timely collection and clearance of outstanding receivables.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to overall growth of the enterprise business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or enterprise sales.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand customer requirements.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
