Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will work full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu for Digital Network Solution (DNS), an ISO‑certified IT service provider. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth across DNS’s security, networking, infrastructure and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets, prepare proposals and coordinate client meetings and presentations.
• Convert leads generated by sales associates into qualified opportunities and maintain them in the CRM.
• Develop Go‑to‑Market (GTM) strategies for assigned products and solutions.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, technical and marketing teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
• Track opportunity progress, update the Sales Manager and OEMs, and ensure accurate forecasting.
• Support post‑sale activities by coordinating with the backend team for timely delivery and with the PMO for project handling.
• Maintain relationships with customers and OEMs to generate repeat business and achieve sales targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits for service reviews, upsell/cross‑sell and gather feedback.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, flexible and willing to travel for client engagements.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools for opportunity tracking and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
