Chartered Accountant (Semi‑Qualified) – Full‑time

About the role

We are seeking a Semi‑Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance team in Kathmandu on a full‑time, on‑site basis. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Assist with tax computations, filings and ensure adherence to Nepalese tax laws.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Prepare accurate financial reports for management review.
• Contribute to budgeting, variance analysis and financial forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve finance processes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and ledger management.
• Experience with taxation, audit support and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to perform budgeting, financial analysis and variance reporting.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Competence with MS Office tools.
