Civil Engineer – Construction & Water Treatment

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Civil Engineer to join our on‑site team in Heṭauā. You will be involved in the planning, design, and supervision of construction and water‑treatment projects, ensuring they meet technical standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and design documentation.
• Develop storm‑water management and drainage solutions in line with relevant codes.
• Coordinate with project managers, multidisciplinary teams, and site personnel.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
• Produce technical reports and support tender and cost‑estimation activities.
• Resolve design and execution issues with stakeholders promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proven experience on construction or water‑related projects, including on‑site coordination.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, resource coordination, and workflow milestones.
• Knowledge of local and national building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Ability to work on‑site in Heṭauā and travel to project locations as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar).
• Storm‑water management practices and drainage design.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards for water infrastructure.
