Communication and Outreach Coordinator

About the role

The Communication and Outreach Coordinator will serve as the focal point for Ipas Nepal's internal and external communications, designing and implementing integrated communication, outreach, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of communication plans, branding guidelines, and editorial calendars aligned with organizational priorities.
• Produce and manage annual reports, fact sheets, briefs, newsletters, campaign materials, and other communication products, ensuring quality and rights‑based language.
• Maintain and update digital channels—including website and social media—creating platform‑appropriate content and monitoring performance to improve reach and engagement.
• Design and execute outreach and stakeholder engagement plans for government agencies, civil society, donors, media, and community audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, prepare approved media materials, and monitor media coverage for accurate, stigma‑free reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Media Studies, Mass Communication, Journalism, Gender Studies, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in communication, outreach, or advocacy.
