Education Consultant & Documentation Officer

About the role

The Education Consultant & Documentation Officer works full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu, providing personalized counseling to prospective students and managing the complete documentation process for overseas study applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one counseling sessions to assess academic backgrounds and career goals.
• Recommend suitable programs, institutions, and study destinations.
• Prepare, verify, and submit application and visa documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain organized client records and track case progress.
• Coordinate with partner universities, visa authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in‑person meetings.
• Support information sessions and follow‑up communications throughout the admission journey.

Required profile

• Strong counseling and advisory abilities with a focus on student goals.
• Excellent attention to detail for handling forms and supporting documents.
• Clear written and spoken English; proficiency in the local language.
• Effective organizational and time‑management skills to manage multiple cases.
• Professional demeanor, confidentiality, and ethical consulting practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Communications, or related field; experience in education consultancy is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic office software for data entry, document preparation, and email communication.
