About the role

Sprout Education Consultancy seeks a motivated Academic Counselor to guide students aspiring to study in Canada. The role involves end‑to‑end support through admission, course selection, and visa processes while maintaining ethical, student‑centered counseling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide complete end‑to‑end counseling for students planning to study in Canada.
• Guide students in selecting appropriate courses, universities, and career pathways.
• Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, and application procedures.
• Assist in preparing and submitting applications and required documents.
• Support students throughout the visa application process, including interview preparation.
• Maintain regular communication with students and parents.
• Participate in education fairs, seminars, and promotional events.
• Maintain accurate and updated student records in internal systems.
• Ensure compliance with ethical counseling standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Prior experience in study‑abroad counseling, preferably for Canada.
• Strong understanding of the Canadian education system, admissions, and visa processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong counseling, persuasion, and student‑handling abilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
