Examination Officer

About the role

The Examination Officer will ensure the accuracy, confidentiality and proper management of all examination‑related documents, marks and academic records. Working closely with module leaders, lecturers and the Academic Department, the role supports compliance with university guidelines and institutional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and verify examination documents prepared by module leaders and the Academic Department.
• Review internal and university examination scripts to ensure marking accuracy and guideline compliance.
• Validate lecturers' comments, grading and feedback uploaded on Moodle for completeness and consistency.
• Prepare, verify and maintain examination marks reports for university assessments.
• Ensure consistency between Moodle records, marksheets, assessment records and official reports.
• Identify discrepancies in marks or documentation and coordinate corrections with faculty.
• Support the Academic Department during examination preparation, result processing and reporting.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of examination papers, marks, student records and other sensitive information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in an academic, examination or administration setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of Moodle or other Learning Management Systems is an advantage.
• Experience handling academic records, examination data or student information.
