Export Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Export Manager to lead the identification, development and execution of international sales opportunities for our FMCG, food & beverage and agri‑product portfolio. The role involves building a qualified buyer pipeline, managing distributor onboarding and ensuring smooth export operations from documentation to shipping.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize export markets and buyer segments; build a qualified pipeline.
• Onboard distributors/buyers through product presentations, samples, negotiations and closing.
• Manage export execution including pro‑forma invoices, LC/TT coordination, documentation, labeling, shipping and claims handling.
• Coordinate with production, quality and warehouse for batch documents, inspections and dispatch timelines.
• Ensure compliance with destination‑market regulations such as labels, certificates, COO and testing.
• Maintain export forecasting, quarterly targets and weekly reporting dashboards.
• Work with finance for payment follow‑ups and risk controls.
• Track international competitor pricing and propose market‑entry tactics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or International Business.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in FMCG / Food & Beverage / Agri‑products export sales and execution.
• Strong knowledge of export market development, channel partner management and compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using export documentation tools and CRM systems.
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
