Finance Manager

About the role

The Jamadar Group is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, cash‑flow management and statutory compliance for its trading and manufacturing operations in Hetauda. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the Group’s leadership in strategic investment decisions and long‑term growth planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor cost structures, cost sheets and inventory/production finance.
• Manage cash flow, and produce provisional and projected financial statements on a periodic basis.
• Ensure accurate accounting records in line with Nepalese regulatory requirements and coordinate statutory filings (VAT, TDS, Income Tax, Excise, etc.).
• Coordinate with banks, IRD and external auditors, and implement internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Assist Group leadership with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and investment partnership decisions.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ICAI or equivalent international body).
• At least 2 years experience with Nepalese tax and regulatory environment (freshers from ICAN with 0‑2 years post‑articleship are also welcome).
• Immediate availability and willingness to relocate to Hetauda.

Required skills

• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Accounting principles, financial reporting and cash‑flow management.
• Ledger management, reconciliations and compliance.
• Cost analysis and inventory/production finance.
• Proficiency with financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, modeling, data visualization).
