Finance Manager

About the role

The company is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance, accounting and reporting functions of its manufacturing operations in Kathmandu. The role combines strategic financial planning with hands‑on cost control, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with all statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall finance, accounting and reporting for the manufacturing business.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, working capital and cost management.
• Handle manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, production expenses and variance analysis.
• Prepare timely financial statements, MIS and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory regulations, audit standards and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax authorities and other stakeholders.
• Strengthen internal controls and optimise financial processes.
• Monitor receivables, payables, bank transactions and cash management.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead, supervise and develop the finance and accounts team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in financial reporting, costing, budgeting, taxation, audit and working‑capital management.
• Good knowledge of ERP/accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, decision‑making and communication abilities.
