Finance Officer – Simara

About the role

The Finance Officer will manage day‑to‑day financial operations for the Simara location, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and timely reporting. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with HR and operational teams to provide financial insights that support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain financial records and reports.
• Monitor cash flows and assist in budget preparation.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with standards and company policies.
• Support management with financial analysis, variance tracking, and cost‑control initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and vendors.

Required profile

• Strong finance knowledge with experience preparing and interpreting financial statements.
• Solid financial reporting skills and ability to support audits.
• Analytical skills for data interpretation, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Effective communication skills for presenting financial information.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently under deadlines.
• Experience in a similar finance or accounting role within consulting or service‑oriented organizations is an advantage.
