Finance Specialist

About the role

This position sits at the core of finance operations, supporting business decision‑making and ensuring robust financial governance. You will manage daily finance activities, deliver accurate reporting, and partner with internal teams to keep business processes smooth and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in line with NFRS and IFRS standards.
• Manage the general ledger, month‑end closing, invoice processing, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Support supplier onboarding, maintain supplier data, and assist with treasury and cash‑flow activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to produce financial reports, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring documentation readiness and timely query resolution.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements, including VAT, TDS and corporate tax.
• Maintain strong documentation standards for transparency and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; professional certification (Semi‑CA / ACCA) is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting or audit roles, preferably in a corporate environment or audit firm.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of IFRS, local GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical thinker with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Effective collaborator across cross‑functional teams.
