Finance Trainee

About the role

World Vision International Nepal offers a one‑year Finance Traineeship for fresh Nepali graduates. You will support the Finance team of the East Field Office in Bardibas, gaining hands‑on experience in financial accounting, reporting and administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain systematic filing of hard‑copy and soft‑copy financial documents.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts and petty‑cash settlement reports.
• Reconcile supporting documents with financial transactions and assist in monthly financial reporting.
• Support compilation of field‑office financial reports and risk‑based monitoring of partner transactions.
• Communicate with partner NGOs on fund forecasts, requests and documentation.
• Assist in reviewing fund requests for completeness and follow up on pending items.

Required profile

• Recent graduate from a Nepali university.
• Strong interest in finance and accounting within a non‑profit environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
• Good communication skills for liaising with partners and internal teams.
